Finally, yet another show to watch on sundays.

Bruce Campbell is awesome!
He's like the number one reason I loved The Evil Dead movies. (It's like a dark comedy horror..what not to like?!) And now, he's old..yes. But still fucking funny and awesome!

The Joy Of Horror

I've seen two really good horror films recently.

The Babadook <---- Definitely a good movie.
As a mother, I found it extra creepy.

And then we have Housebound.

Now this, this is quite a different kind of horror. But I definitely LOVED it! I loved the twist in it. I recomend that yu don't read reviews about it and DON'T read the story or plot about it. All you need to know is that she tried to rob an ATM, someone got hurt, and she got sentenced to house arrest with her mom who lives on the country side and weird things start happening.


So watch them!


And now to finally, Jessabelle.
Oooooh...I do have high hopes for this one and I've decided NOT to read an reviews about it either. I'll decide for myself if this is a good movie or not.

This is what we'll watch tonight. YAY!

Update on JessaBelle:

It was really good. In my opinion.
Kinda had a 'The SkeletonKey' feeling over it. Voodoo and all that jazz.
In the end, all small things in the movie made soooo much sense, I like it when it's like that. When they actually DO put effort into the story. And not making an halfassed horrorstory with no real sense or "logic".

so...

that movie was weird.

Sad and kinda fucked up. Mostly sad.

And weeeeiiiiirrrd.

Well. I did get scared at times, so I guess that's a plus.

Find Me

I'm gonna watch a horror movie soon, while Frost plays some Madden. I'ma watch 'Find Me'. Same old ghostly stories really. But it might be good. And it might not be. Who knows? I'll let ya know later.

Yesterday we watched '7500'. I thought it was ok, I like movies with a different plot twist like that. Now that I think about it, I watched a similar one.. not on a plane but in a house. I think me and my sister watched it. And that was good one. it has the same kinda twist in it. Gosh...what was i called again? I'll have to ask my sister I guess.

But anyway... Find Me. Yup. Oggaboggabooo!




Oh, and I read something about a new movie written by JK Rowling. Could be fun. :D I like fairytale animals and junk :)

Btw, sooooooooooooooooooooooon...soon. Soon Jessebelle, and another one called Annabelle will be released, WOHO! Two very creepy horror movies.

if anyone has seen The Conjouring, Annabelle is about the doll they show in the beginning of the movie. Like a spinnoff I suppose. And THAT was a good movie.


But anyway, I'll tell you if Find Me is worth watching or not later :D

World War Z

I'm watching World War Z right now.
I felt like watching something before work... And this movie keeps me jumpy at all times. Seriously... This is a very creepy movie. So far at least.

The zombies... They're fucking scary. And super fast. They scare the hell outa me all the time... :O Nerve wracking I tell ya. I can feel a heart attack coming up....

And this is a pretty good version of the movie. It's just the sound that's a wee bit bad. But totally fine :)

Thale

I just finished watching Thale. A norwegian movie, about a creature from old norse folklores... It was so so. And short. And the creature didn't really look the way folklores describe them. But I guess it was to make them a lil' bit creepier...The creature is what we call 'Skogrå' and the norwegians call it "Huldra"

Oh and someone asked me what Thale means, It's "her" name in the movie.

Oh but for anyone who wished to see this movie, you should probably wait till there's better subs for it. Cause the subs were completely retarded. Didn't make sense at all. Someone who knew nothing about english probably made those. SUCKED BALLS IT DID.

The possession

How y'all doing? ^^

Ida left just a short while ago, we watched The Possession. It was a so so scary movie. Some creepy moments, and definitely a wee bit different from other exorcism movies. Most horror movies like that tend to have a connection to the catholic church... well, this was just different. Never the less, totally alright. It was about a box, and a demon locked inside that box. Of course a stupid kid has to be all like 'Oooooooh what a nice box! MY BOX! I'ma open that shit even though it says DO NOT OPEN lalalalalal!'.  Oh and lol, the only black person died. hah... it's like Turk says: Black people always die first. haha

What I hate the most is when people say 'based on a true story'. Cause shit like this can scare me half to death. Good thing I have Lei Lei the anti-ghost dog. haha Chow chows are said to repel evil spirits so high five for me picking a good breed! lol

Imagine seeing two fingers suddenly popping up in your throat...

What a pleasant surprise.

Horror at its best

As I may have mentioned before.
We really do enjoy watching Horror movies and the such.
Except for horror which contains possessed people and exorcism and so on (Frost isn't allowed to watch that EVER. It's like... worse than watching horror movies in general with Moa) No kidding.


But we've really taken a liking to American Horror Story. I SO hope that they'll make yet another season! :) The first season turned out to be a dark comedy in the end and it was creepy and scary just as it's supposed to be :) And Asylum turned out to be creepy as fuck as well. Totally different story, characters and so on but still SO FUCKING good.

And tonight, there's another episode being released. *doing a silent YaaaaaY on the inside*

We'll just see about that

'One of the best horror movies the last few years' huh?
well... guess I'm about to find out.

I'ma watch The Woman. Supposedly a real scary film.
Now, I'm more into either ghost movies or like... Zombie movies ya know? I'm not a big fan of splatter movies at all. Movies like The chainsaw massacre and the such don't interest me at all and they don't really scare me either. So either ghosts or zombies for my part. :)

But I figured I'd give this one a chance :)

I might just like it. You never know :)

Oh riiiight

Well, yesterday I went over to a friends house and watched The awakening and then later we saw Försvunnen.

The Awakening was actually really good cause it was unpredictable as hell! Never saw that coming haha. She works as a person who solves mysteries involving ghosts. She doesn't believe in ghosts and has loads of cool machines and stuff that she uses in her investigations. Steam punk deluxe haha.

And Försvunnen...well..it was creepy. Cause it can happen to anyone :/ scary shit I tell ya. And it's weird to see one of sweden most famous actors who always plays funny roles, as the psychopath in this one.

And yeeees, this one does have subs for those who needs it haha





Oh look at me, I'm introducing ou to swedish culture haha.
I'm not a huge fan of swedish films and such but sometimes something sparks my interest. Like the girl with the dragon tattoo. Btw, the swedish movies are FAR FAR FAR better than the american. just sayin'.... you can't capture the rawness of Noomi Rapache.

Babycall

So, as I mentioned earlier..I'm watching Babycall right now.
A norwegian horror flick. And to be honest...it's creepy as fuck. Cause you just can't seem to figure out if it's mental, paranormal,both och just retarded O___O

Noomi Rapace is in it ^^I like her.
(She's the woman who was in The girl with the dragon tattoo, the sweeeeedish one, I might add)


it's about a woman who has moved outside of Oslo with her son, escaping an abusive husband. She's a bit fucked up...seeing things, not remembering things etc... and then even weirder things start to happen which makes her question if it really is all in her head or not?
