Bad luck

I think we're just prone to bad luck really...👎 Despite us being in love and happy together, it's like bad luck follows. (and yes, my health is what it is due to EDS, not bad luck....I know that. but bear with me here)

See, last week, my knee got dislocated once again, and yeah...it fucking hurt.
I did however get to meet an awesome doctor who was pretty cool. I liked him and he showed me my x-rays and told me things that I didn't know. (always something positive in all that bad shit going on right?)

And on friday, Frost had to pull out a broken tooth. And that shit turned ugly pretty fast.
The extraction in general didn't quite go as planned I suppose...
And then it got infected, stopped healing, he got dry socket... and apparently dry socket hurts like a motherfucker. And so he's been at the denstist office almost everyday since friday. Well, he wasn't there on saturday but all the other days he was there.😩

But today they finally decided to just stitch that shit up, as it wasn't healing like it's supposed to.
Maybe now he can finally get better and heal? One can hope right? They should've just fucking stitched that shit up as soon as they noticed that it just wasn't healing at all really, if you ask me -_-
He's been hurting so bad... and usually he's the one that has to watch me in pain, not the other way around. So I guess I know how he feels now, it ain't very nice.

Freya on the other hand has been thriving. I mean, she's just an amazing kid with such a wonderful wild personality. So she has been the main reason the mood in the house has been so good. She's kept us happy haha

 Plus she's been learning how to ride her bike, and skate, and we've doodled out back which I'll show y'all later...


We started reading The Hobbit to her at night now too (We've both read it before, and it is actually a pretty child safe book tbh) plus she gets to expand her vocabulary. I'm also reading The Borrowers to her, my old book that I got on my 10th birthday haha 💜
Plus the old classic Grimm tales (but I chose to have those in Swedish, the same with John Bauers book. It HAS to be in swedish)

I'm planning on buying the Treasure island and the real Jungle Book, plus maybe Tarzan and Jules Vernes best creations. I've got soooo many book ideas that I've been planning since her birth basically haha
And our little family library is slowly but steadily expanding.
(yeah, I know you can see some of my manga and anime but whatevs, just ignore that)
Eventually I wanna buy a big beautiful bookshelf, and old one. :)

Midsummer

Midsummer came and went.💗

Freya had a blast, and that's all that matters to me~

My brother dropped me and Frost off in Askersund, and then mom, Josse & Freya picked us up and we went to Åmmebergs midsummer celebrations (I don't really like that you have to pay entrance fee these days but oh well) It is an important place from my childhood after all haha

Freya was very excited.
She got to ride a pony, play in the jumping castle, look at the giant maypole, nibble on cotton candy (even though she preferred the ones in the bag that were pink and blue instead of the white fluff on a stick haha)
We got some candy rocks and nougats (that I couldn't eat cause they were way too sweet)
 and I bought a long sour candy strap for Josse too. haha I really liked being with Josefin. I want to go to Åmmebergs midsummer celebrations more times with her and the others again.
I bet Freya has had an awesome weekend now. She absolutely fucking loves being there with granny, Lasse & Josse (and Doris too haha)

The dinner was delicious, and the cake was brilliant. My sister made a meringue cake, with lots of whipped cream on it. And as a filling it had crushed raspberry pie (yep, a PIE!) and vanilla custard too. I gotta say, with the smooth whipped cream and meringue that melts in your mouth, it was kinda neat to feel some sweet crunchy pie crust and raspberries on the tongue too. Mmm..... such a mouthtastic experience lol 💛

Oh I also made a flower garland for Freya to wear as a midsummer crown ;D She was so beautiful. My sweet little snuggle monster. 💚💚💚 I kinda feel like I made an epic garland really lol
Freya is too cute though. I should've made garlands for everyone to wear too...

On saturday morning, Irena came to Zinkgruvan and picked me and Frost up. We had a nice drive back to town together too :)
And the plan was to party a bit with the Larssons in the evening. But since Nathalie's midsummer party with her family kinda went to the pooper too, we decided to just change the plans.

We had an awesome time yesterday really~
And we discovered that I make deeeelicious Mojitos. Seriously.

They tasted better than they did at the bar. 🍹  We drank, played Mario Kart, laughed and just had a good time. It was good for the soul. Yep. We needed it.
 Frost was more impressed over how entertained we can be with such small effort haha

Anyway.... Good times has been had.
My mother really gave Freya the best weekend 💜

It looks like Frost will be Inna sickleave for a while.

 Due to his occupation, they're worried about not knowing what caused the seizure so they wanted him to be on a sickleave for a while. 

I think it'll be good for him too to just stay at home and recuperate. ❤️

Tomorrow is Friday, and Freyster will go with Mom and Lasse to the summer house. She's gonna have so much fun! I'm so excited for her. She'll play in her little pool, play with her toys in the grass and take naps in the hammock. Eat tasty breakfast and dinners and stuff, walking in the woods... Did I mention my mom's cooking is awesome? Yeah she'll have a hoot with them as usual. They sure do spoil their beloved grandchild. Haha 

But coming from a person who was never really loved not felt the warmth from her Grandparents....it truly makes me happy knowing my daughter gets ALL of it from hers. 

I'm glad that Freya is going to have a real good time. It makes me so happy ❤️  I hope the weather is good this weekend so she can play as much as possible outside. Who knows, if the sun has warmed up the small lake by their house then maybe she can even go take a dip with them? 

Obviously she'll have floating stuff in her and they'll hold her. Cause there's no "beach". Just a small pier and rocks and deep water. But it's so beautiful.

It's ridiculous how much we miss her as soon as she's gone.

She's so fucking sweet and kind, but also stubborn and obstinate haha 😂 She can be a real adorable  monster. So I ain't saying that it'll be bad to get some good sleep. Just resting and shit. I'll enjoy it to the fullest, but I always miss her cuddles and kisses. Just seeing her face can immediately cheer me up.

But this is a weekend we sooooooo need lol some peace and quiet, and rest. Damn it sounds wonderful.

A lovelier monday

It's fucking springtime

More people outside, sunshine and fucking warmth!
Like...how it was outside the other day was the perfect warmth for me. Yep.
Not too hot, definitely not too cold. Just about right.

New things are happening, good and bad.
In a way I suppose it's progress really...any changes are progress in this situation.
I've never been in this particular situation before, but I know people who have.
So there's support :)

Today when Freya came home she wanted to listen to music :)
And she got to pick the music. She loves the soundtrack for Guardians Of The Galaxy, but I've got a mix of my own that she really likes <3












Yep, we're having a hoot. She's like superwild right now so we're just watching her and clapping and stuff cause she's such an amazing performer ya know?

Good God were sleepy AF tonight.

It's been a really nice Friday. Willie is sleeping over and Freya was so happy! 

And they're both asleep now, so I'm gonna try to sleep too since I haven't been sleeping well lately. 😴

Oh I also baked with my sister AND I finished the hat for Freya too!! Productive huh? Whoop whoop! Aaaand I made a decadent deliciously chocolaty rich cake with chocolate ganache on the top for sunday.

 Ah, I really gotta sleep! I promised the kids that they'll meet Santa this weekend....(damn they got so excited haha) so we're going on a wee adventure tomorrow (unless it rains) 

It'll be Christmas movies and saffron buns then haha

You know, it's my just any Friday today.

It's Punisher Friday! It start today actually. The entire season is out and we are so totally gonna binge watch the shit out of it. Woho! 😁

Yep yep. Obviously I'm caring enough to wait for Frost. Duh. Wouldn't watch it without him.

Anyhoooo...I'm about to play some cod WW2, and chill with Freyster. She's watching My little pony now and she's really into it.

I gotta admit I'm kinda watching it too from afar. I can't help it lol  (though it was definitely so much better in my time) But whatevs. Kids these days won't even know how amazing it was back then, compared to cartoons these days. True story bro.

Freya went to the dentist yesterday 😀
She was such a good girl. She was scared though, but when the dentist counted my teeth, she realized that it's ok lol So she let them count hers too.
Afterwards we went to a little store and let her pick out some toys.
Cause she was so brave, and it made me proud. 💛

I bought her a little bag with big pretty glass marbles in it. And for some reason, that was the best gift ever haha She loves her marbles. I gotta say though, they are very pretty 💘

Today is just like a...snuggle day? yeah a snuggle day. Cold wet weather, playing some destiny while Freya enjoys her Pippi Långstrump show 💚 Gave her a giant fruit salad too, without the cream.
Yeah, she's in an anti-cream phase right now for some reason.

And I'm about to start making dinner now. Chicken with chanterelle (a yellow mushroom) sauce and either pasta or bulgur with it. Can't really make up my mind about that. 😕 Pasta would probably be tastier with a rich creamy sauce with it huh? Yeah....it's leaning towards pasta. Freyster will get her gluten free animal pasta haha it's adorable. Got some top notch broth to put in the sauce too. Mmm... Groovy gravy baby.

Oh and I was doodling on Frosts phone earlier, and (I wasn't snooping btw, if that's how it sounds lol I was just sending myself some pics that I took with his phone. Cause my phone fucking sucks giant donkey balls😒) I saw this photo of them. 😍

Freya absolutely loves starts and moons and planets.

I think it's awesome that she does though, cause I did too when I was a kid.

(well I still do haha And it just so happens to be that Frost is someone who loves reading articles and science texts about space and shit so yay that) 

It's rare for a child her age to like it though, but I think it's kinda cool. 

It's probably cause Frost always told her "Look at the moon, isn't it pretty?" 

and she just kinda got into the moon lol

So when were out and it's somewhat dark, we always go look at stars.

I'm gonna buy Freya some glow in the dark stars and planets and put in her ceiling.

She's got a star and moon projector that glows up the entire room at night. The walls and ceiling are covered in them. (Maybe I'll just buy her a new and better space projector some day?)

Well I think this is enough rambling about the day for now.

I should go get the chicken ready. Yum yum.

I'm gonna make a new header for the blog too today. It's autumn after all.

And I wanna change it since it makes me miss Lei lei so fucking much every time I look at it.

Ok, despite us being sickly this weekend, we still had an ok time :)

(I'll be writing about videogames a lot too so.. just scroll past that if you don't have an interest for it)

So anyway, Freyster's been riding her bicycle a lot lately. Every day to be exact. At least we push ourselves to go out for longer walks so she can ride her little bike daily. She's so good at it too.
First thing she did when she got it was to wroom away :)

I've been playing the CoD ww2 beta this weekend. Got good responds online too from my gameplay. :D

That's always a hoot right? haha  (though in my opinion it feels like that was a total ripoff of Bf1. It was the exact same pretty much. But hey, I had fun.) There was a few bugs but nothing major. 

And today I decided to start playing the new uncharted: the lost legacy. 

Loving it so far. Go women! And all that jazz... it is nice though, to see women be badasses like that for a change, don't get me wrong. I love Nathan Drake. 

But this is the new era of vaginas, ok dudes? lol

And yeah, I've played Tombraider. I know she has one too. But this is somehow different.

Probably cause it's two of them. You know, that game got such a huge response online due to it being feminist friendly and showing how to women can be true friends bla bla blah.

Frost was wondering what rock those women who wrote that had been living under. 

They were talking about how women are friends these days, because social media shows a different side. Like money and sex bladdibla. (I only listened to half he said..I know. One of my oh so many flaws eheh..) But yeah, he's right.

Getting sidetracked here but bear with me for a minute (or two)

The friends I have are amazeballs. I can't even imagine Nathalie or Onka or Marty (though Marty doesn't even swing that way lol Frost should worry that she'll steal me away instead ahahah Cause I'm so hot, in case you missed that part.) or Hanna or Moa or (omg I can't count them all ok..let's just stop now) but yeah, none of them would talk rudely to me or use me, stealing my man... whatever. Nah. No one of my buddies would be what social media portrait female friends to be.

Don't get me wrong... it's not like I've never come across women  like that. Man, I've met women that flirted with friends boyfriends or even slept with guys their friends liked etc etc. 

You know, pretty much what you see on TV. -_-

I never hung out in those kind of crowds though... I didn't really feel threatened from my 7 guy friends either hahaha

Freya's birthday

Yesterday was Freyster's birthday.  And it was the best one ever!

The Larssons gave her a new biiiiike! Iiiih! (Freya squealed)
And she freakin' loved her new kickbike she got fron mom and Lasse.

I made two giant cakes for her day. One chocolate pavlova that everyone seemed to get obsessed about haha and then a cream cake with blueberry jam, vanilla custard and then a ourole creamy layer with blueberryvanilla cream in it. A 5 layer cake. BOOM.
They loved it. :D

And Freya loved her gifts! She got a bike, a kickbike, toys, books, clothes, mumin cup, playdoh, artsy stuff. Pens, crayons paper etc etc... I can't even remember all the things she got.


Oh and Nathalie stayed up with me the night before and helped me make meringues and pavlova bottoms and shit. haha We had a retarded evening. A ton of fun!

The meringues turned out perfect, and I covered the cream cake with them too.

I'm so happy that Freya had such an awesome birthday. <3
