Reminiscence

Almost every song I like reminds me of something or someone.
This one reminds me of when I went with my uncle in his car as a kid, out to the countryside... I had the wind blowing in my hair and I saw all the fields and trees pass by in the sunshine. it was a nice day.

My uncle and my dad adores CCR, Rolling Stones and my uncles looooves Elvis haha That's the kind of music I was raised to. Uh huh.








Oh oh oh and my mum used to play this one a LOT.
Nick Cave has such a freaking dark voice..
 



Yus, Been going through a lot of music tonight in order to distract myself :) And it fn worked as well. Made me think back to the old days... good and bad memories.

I'm feeling very nostalgic right now. :) I'm remembering old smells...
It's like I can almost smell the grass, and I remember the smell from the trees and the lake...the smell of whiskey and cigars, and the Lily of the valley's. Oh and how our oh so old car smelled like when I was a wee child.

Fucking hated that smell.
