Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas Eve guys! 🎄🎉💗☃️❄️💝
The best day of the entire year imo 🤩
I mean, the kids are excited, our Christmas trees are awesome, the entire house looks amazeballs...and I really love being a mom an extra lot this time of year.

We managed to get a white freaking Christmas for once! Woohoo!  It's been years since we had a white snowy Christmas ❄️💗 Pretty sweet right?

Freya prepared cookies and milk for Santa last night btw, and went to bed excited as hell 😍🎄 I mean, these are the best years of childhood. So we're doing our best to make magical memories for her 😚 and I think we're doing pretty dang good so far.

And lo' and behold, Santa ate all the cookies and drank the milk 😂 Needless to say she was fucking exstatic!

It's been a nice calm morning though, she didn't wake up till 9AM (which was heavenly tbh haha) the whole house smells like Christmas 💝

She had quite a bunch of presents under the tree this morning too, not all of them was from Santa though.
And my dad dropped by as well around noon. Freya got two My Little Ponies and I kinda gotta admit that they were pretty cool 👌🏻 She was veeeery happy.

Well, we're at Mom's now, she's cooking ribs and meatballs in the kitchen, and Frost, Freya, Wille and I are in the livingroom watching Kalle Ankas jul. (Donald Ducks christmas) 
It's tradition am I right? 

Alright, it time for dinner soon so I best better try to get out if this cozy couch 👌🏻it's probably harder than it sounds really....this is a damn cozy couch after all.

Christmas decorating and shit

Me and Freya made gingerbread cookies the other day 😃❤️
And then I decorated them, cause she weasel got too tired and fell asleep 💛 My little doodle...
I did promise her that if make them unique and fun so here they are 😎

When mom & Lasse came to pick up Freyster earlier she wanted then th each have a gingerbread heart and she wanted a Christmas pig so they could have a coffee break later ☕
Well, tomorrow I'm making marzipan piggies dipped in chocolate 😊
I AM the Christmas spirit itself in human form lmao

Oh and Freya called me earlier over WhatsApp, she was so fucking excited she was almost screaming haha 😂
Apparently when she and granny sat down in the livingroom, they heard noises from the attic. Someone was rumbling around up there. 😮
So grandma said that maybe it was "tomtenissen" (a tiny santa, gnome or elf) that was sneaking around upstairs. So they went to check what it was. And when they got to the attic, Freya suddenly saw an old attic door move a little, and a lit candle was there...and out peeped a tiny tomtenisse! 😲
Freya got so excited and asked him questions, like "are you gonna come by on Christmas Eve too??"
And he nodded and whispered "yes".
Man, her eyes were sparkling when she told me all if this. This was probably the most magical and exciting moment in her life.💖💖💖
She was so happy. And then when they were walking down the stairs, a Clementine fell down the stairs and landed by her feet. Tomtenissen dropped it 😂
According to mom, Freya freaked out hahaha till she realized that it was from the gnome lol

I'm really happy that she gets to make these magical and fun memories 💛

Welp, it's time to snuggle and watch a movie. Freya is at Mom's place, and we've got the place all to ourselves tonight. Woooh!

My back is fucking driving me insane...it hurts so bad cause I've been using crutches. 😩 Fucking shit... I had to use a walker inside instead cause the pain started getting unbearable.
I can't leave the house so it's pretty boring being stuck like this. Worst timing ever lol
But I did get to go out for a drive with Josse today so that was fun, even if it was somewhat short haha

But I'm about to get a Frost class massage so...hehe...yay me~

 Man, it's been a weird week. 😐

Alright, so firstly: This weekend was nice 👌🏻😃

We were out and played, had fun, watched movies and cooked good food and hung out with my fam.🖤
 And we went to dinner on Saturday at Coralie & Pierre's place. I could tell that Frost definitely enjoyed some American company✌🏻 haha
Meanwhile, my brother babysat Freya, and those two are just adorable lol He watched The Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russel in it, (he loved it lol) and Freya fell asleep next to him ❤️
And Sunday was third advent 🕯️🕯️🕯️

Aaaaaand we celebrated third advent at Mom's place, it was nice and cozy ❤️❤️❤️tasty lussekatter, saffron biscoti, and gingerbread cookies 😋 And afterwards me and Josse went for quiiiite the walk...this city really is beautiful at night. 🤩 (Or maybe this walk in town was on Saturday night? We've been going on a lot walks together lol)

Now, how about this week?
Well it started preeeetty damn shitty. 😒
See, I slipped outside the daycare on Monday  😑
And I fucking dislocated my God damn knee AGAIN! 🤪😵🤬🤬🤬🤬😇
So yay, I can't walk. AGAIN. But it's cool. I'm not as devasted as I was earlier this year, when the same thing happened.

But apart from that little "mishap" I've had a good week tbh. Freya makes everyday pretty awesome. And Frost has been amazing support (as usual 😄) But it's like I went back in time 4 years, I needed his help with putting on my pants, socks, getting out of the bed, even help walking with the crutches the first day (it's like some nerves got damaged in the knee or something, I can't control the leg at all...so the balance was pisspoor) and then the insane pain that came with walking with crutches.🤬 Now THAT was fucking painful. Like, we're talking so painful that I screamed out loud every time I moved "the wrong" way. I had to triple my daily dose of painkillers just to NOT scream.
It's better today though, cause I think my back has gotten somewhat ajusted to the crutches finally. Which is awesome cause I was about to go insane haha😅👌🏻🙄

Anyhoooo...like I said, me, Frost & Freya have had fun 😃❤️

I baked lussekatter (saffron buns) with Josefin on Monday night too btw. ✌🏻🍪🍩
The whole process was hell (don't ask 🤨) but they turned out delicious👌🏻😄 Omnomnom...😋

So that's all basically....for now. Good &bad. Yep.
Hope y'all have had a good weekend and week so far too btw.

Sickhouse & Lucia

Right, so Freyster has been sick...

 Poor weasel, she rarely gets sick tbh. So she's been at home Monday and Tuesday. But she went today and she's super psyked about Lucia tomorrow. As am I obviously, cause who wouldn't wanna go see this cutie singing weird songs that makes no sense whatsoever in a white little Lucia dress looking all cute and happy? 💖

Frost has gotten sick now instead, so that's a hoot. I'm not feeling super great either, but that's mostly due to weird muscle spasms and cramps that's keeping me awake all night. It fucking sucks. 

But anyway. I'm gonna make some more ginger bread cookies tomorrow 😊 I figured I'd start right before Freya comes home (that way I can be sure someone ain't eating all the dough) Last time she and Josse ate what they call "a little", but what I call the size of a fucking baseball. 🤨

This time, I ain't letting anyone touch my dough. I'm making my own dough too....so we'll see how that'll go 🙄

Also, I think Doris has some good Christmas spirit too 💖 Just like me and my super Christmasy earnings. I'm in love with those lmao 

Second Advent

Yay~ second Sunday of December. Meaning: Second Advent here.

Obviously that means advents Fika 😁👌🏻

 Freya's gotten sick unfortunately. It just came on t of nowhere really. She was crying because her head hurt so much...and then bam! Major fever. More tears. And then projectile vomiting. 🤢🤮

She fell asleep while grandma was stroking her back 💖 Poor little weasel.

Ah, I was thinking of getting her a book about the moon, and the stars? Maybe...or like a book about the solar system? She LOVES the moon and stars. Looking through a telescope this summer and seeing the moon "up close" was amazing for her. 

So we're gonna have to get her at least something that had to do with the moon and planets and stuff. 🤔

Anyhoooo... Yeah. I guess that's about it. I don't think I was gonna write about anything else?

Doris showed up earlier out if the blue. Not that I'm complaining, I got some excellent quality cuddles. 💖

It's been a very nice day today 😁

And Freyster has been sooo happy and sweet all day too 😍 Haha 

Now don't get me wrong, she's always very loving and snuggly. But she's been extra cute and cuddly 😍🦄 so many kisses and hugs hahaha 

Well, right now me and Frost are all cuddled up in the sofa, watching 'A star is born'... But I gotta say.... I am not hooked yet.🙄

So far it's pretty meh 🤔 but hey, it got Grammy nominations and shit so I'll be patient. 

Not gonna lie....I'm probably not gonna be able to finish this tonight... cause I am SO fucking tired. 😴

Saint Nicholaus

Look at this Christmas weasel! 🎄

Today's the 6th of December, which means it's Saint Nicholaus!✨👌🏻🎄

My family, and my mother's family for generations have always celebrated St. Nicholaus ❤️  (or sankt Nicholaus as we call it haha)

This day was almost as exciting as Christmas Eve itself (yeah we celebrate it the 24th, not 25th) 

I remember how much I loved celebrating St Nicholaus when I was a child. 

And now I'm letting Freya feel some of that excitement 😊

 She hung up her Christmas sock by her bed last night, and I don't think I've ever seen her that excited before. She could barely sleep, and she woke up all the time and said that her eyes won't sleep cause they wanna see him sneak in at night and leave chocolate in her sock 😂

I told her that it'd probably be tricky for him to sneak in if she's watching him like a hawk lol And with that, she fell asleep within minutes. ❤️

When I was little we'd always get a giant box full of Christmas candy and chocolate from Germany every year. 

Lots of chocolate Santas, marzipan pigs and marzipan kartoffeln, chocolate Santa lollipops and chocolate Christmas balls to hang in the tree. Me and my sister loved it. She still does lol I know she wanted a sock full of chocolate Santas and shit this year too, so I hope mom got it for her haha 😅

When Freya woke up this morning, she was sooo damn excited and happy! And that made me just as happy and excited haha She jumped into our bed and showed me what Saint Nicholaus had put in her sock last night 😁 

Abd she got to go to daycare later and brag about today to her friends and teachers. ❤️

Anyway, I can't remember if I already mentioned that we went to a Christmas market last weekend? I mean, technically it was two Christmas markets...but that one in Nasta was kinda bleak and lame 🙄

Wadköping however was amazing as usual. Freya had a hoot, and she got to ride a pony too 😊 she's actually quite good at riding.

I think this Christmas will be really good as usual. 🎄❤️

Well, this turned out to be a long post... I really need to get a new laptop 🙄


Oh also, Freyster wrote her first letter to Santa the other day. I mean, I had to write for her obviously...but she decided what it was gonna say. And she was so sweet, thanking him for all the pretty gifts she's gotten from him before. And she even wished for a sparkly candle (?) for me too haha 😁
Kattis Saw her letyer so now she's getting the number one thing she asked for too on that list. Aaaw she's gonna be so happy ❤️🎄 

Frost is waiting for a new assignment from work to see if he gets a new place for mechanics etc. But he always gets his full pay even while waiting for new assignments, so that's good.  👌🏻

His boss is going windsurfing in Bali for a few months now so we'll see who The substitute will be. Hope he's not a total dingleberry.
